How does the system work?
A compact unit is fitted to each toilet and set to dose a small amount of solution into the bowl on every flush. This treats odours at the source, rather than just spraying perfume into the air.
How is Illiminate different to air fresheners?
Illiminate works inside the toilet, not just in the air. The unit doses an odour-neutralising solution into the bowl with each flush, targeting smells at the source and supporting better hygiene between cleans. Air fresheners can still be used alongside Illiminate to add a pleasant overall scent to the room.
Is the liquid environmentally friendly?
Yes. The formula is 100% biodegradable and environmentally friendly. It’s designed to neutralise odours effectively without damaging fixtures, plumbing or the wider environment.
Is it safe for toilets and plumbing?
The solution is non-erosive and formulated to be safe on plastic, stainless steel and all common toilet fixings and plumbing. It’s dosed in small, controlled amounts to minimise impact on surfaces while still effectively treating odours.
Does this replace normal cleaning?
No. Illiminate supports better hygiene and odour control between cleans, but it does not replace regular cleaning and maintenance of your bathrooms.

How often does it dose?
The unit doses on a controlled schedule aligned with your venue’s busiest periods. Because every venue is different, we set it up around your peak times, focusing on rush hours—when odours are at their worst—so you get strong odour control where it counts, while avoiding unnecessary dosing (and spend) across the entire day.
How often are refills needed?
Refills are generally scheduled every month. Each device is set to distribute a measured dose each day based on its capacity and your venue’s usage, so there’s enough product to last until the next service/refill date. This means you get consistent dosing and consistent odour control without having to monitor levels yourself.
Do you service urinals?
Not at this time. Our system is designed for cistern dosing on toilets, ensuring even distribution with every flush. For urinals, coverage is highly localised and inconsistent; we prefer not to install where we can’t guarantee results.
