Product Safety Notice

What this product is

Our cistern-dose liquid is a highly concentrated solution formulated for cleaning, disinfecting, and odour control in toilet cisterns. It is not for topical use or ingestion.

  • Intended use: Workplace/commercial washrooms. Dispensed in small, measured doses into the toilet cistern only.

  • Do not use directly on skin, as a handwash, air freshener, or in food-handling areas unless specifically directed on the label/SDS.

Keep out of reach of children

  • Store locked up, in original container, away from food and drink.

  • Do not decant into unlabelled containers.

  • Prevent access by unauthorised persons.

First aid instructions

If exposure occurs, follow these general first aid steps and seek advice from 13 11 26:

  • If swallowed/ingested: Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Sip water if conscious. Call 13 11 26 for advice or 000 if symptoms are severe (e.g., difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness).

  • Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for at least 15 minutes, lifting upper and lower eyelids; remove contact lenses if present and easy to do; seek medical advice.

  • Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with plenty of soap and water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

  • Inhalation of mist/vapour: Move to fresh air and keep at rest. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice.

These directions are general in nature. Always follow the product label and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the specific formulation in use.

Safe handling & PPE (for installers/service staff)

  • Wear protective gloves and eye protection during handling, refilling, or maintenance.

  • Avoid breathing mist or vapours; ensure adequate ventilation in plant/chemical rooms.

  • Wash hands after handling.

Storage

  • Store upright in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight and away from oxidisers, acids, ammonia, and chlorine/bleach.

  • Keep containers tightly closed. Do not expose to heat or open flame.

Do not mix chemicals

  • Never mix this product with bleach (sodium hypochlorite), ammonia, acids, or other cleaners—dangerous gases may be released.

  • Only use as directed in compatible dosing equipment.

Spills & disposal

  • For small spills: contain, absorb with inert material (e.g., vermiculite), collect into labelled container, and dispose according to local regulations. Prevent product entering drains/waterways.

  • Dispose of unused product and empty containers responsibly in accordance with local council/state requirements and the SDS.

Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

  • A current SDS must be available to staff and contractors where the product is stored or used.

  • The SDS includes classification under GHS, detailed hazard/precautionary statements, and transport/disposal guidance.

Regulatory notes (Australia)

  • Follow applicable workplace health and safety requirements (state/territory WHS laws).

  • Affix clear labels including first aid wording and emergency contact details.

  • Maintain training records for personnel who handle chemicals and keep incident logs where required.
